Center
The State Examination Center public legal entity was established according to the decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 11, 2016. The State Exam Center is considered to organize final assessment of students at secondary schools, centralized admission examinations to residency (medical education), undergraduate and graduate levels of higher education at universities, as well as at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The State Examination Center (SEC) is a public legal entity, which conducts exams for state agencies, legal entities and individuals on a contractual basis for recruitment of civil service personnel. The SEC also administers exams for admission to higher education institutions and VET (vocational education and training) institutions on a competitive basis. The Center also plays significant role on formation of state policy on civil service and administers tests for admission to civil service and for continuation of civil service roles.
The Center is managed by the Board of Directors consisting of a chairman appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, two deputy chairmen and 4 members of the board.
