The State Examination Center will hold the first stage of the professional accountant certificate exam (on accounting) on April 19, 2026.
Registration for the exam was carried out through the SEC website and 606 (KOSS – 71, IFRS - 394, İSMUBS - 141) people applied to participate in the exam.
The exam will be held in Baku via computers in the SEC electronic examination building. Those who registered to participate in this exam can familiarize themselves with the demo version of the exam at the following link:

The exam starts at 11:00. Candidates arriving after 10:45 will not be allowed into the exam building. It is prohibited to bring or use mobile phones, smart watches and other communication devices, calculators and other electronic devices, notes, dictionaries, spreadsheets, erasers, bags, reference books, external memory devices and other auxiliary tools into the exam building.
The exam duration is 3 hours and candidates are presented with 40 test tasks. The test consists of 40 tasks with a total score breakdown as follows: 20 closed-type tasks at 1 point each, 10 at 2 points each, and 8 at 5 points each, while the 2 open-type tasks are valued at 10 points each.

Candidates must come to the building where they will take the exam at the time indicated on the exam admission form on the exam day (information about the exam building, date and time of the exam is indicated on the exam admission form), and must bring the following documents with them:
- original identity document (identity card or passport);
- exam admission ticket.
