On September 6, the State Examination Centre (SEC) administered a supplementary examination for Grade 9 and Grade 11 students, including external candidates, who were unable to take the 2026 school-leaving examinations due to valid reasons. Additionally, students who could not attend the examination in Azerbaijani language (as the state language) also sat for this test.
The examinations were organized in the cities of Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, and Shirvan.
To administer the examinations, 8 test supervisors, 7 general test supervisors, 47 invigilators, 6 security/access control officers, and 7 building representatives were assigned.
A total of 388 students were scheduled to participate in the examination.
The session also accommodated 8 candidates with physical disabilities (visual, hearing, and other impairments). Dedicated halls were allocated in the examination venues to ensure comfortable testing conditions for them, and individual invigilators were assigned to individuals with 81–100% loss of bodily functions due to visual impairment. Accessible facilities and conditions were also provided for candidates with mobility impairments to enter and move within the premises.
The examination results will be announced within 5 days.
