On August 8, the State Examination Center will conduct a recruitment exam for director and deputy director positions at art schools and centers under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as for teaching positions at art schools and centers under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The exam will be organized in two shifts, starting at 10:00 and 16:00. Candidates arriving at the venue after 09:45 and 15:45, respectively, will not be admitted. Candidates must arrive at the examination venue at the time specified on their admission tickets.
Registered candidates must visit the SEC website to print their "Exam Admission Ticket." The ticket includes details such as the date, location, building, hall, start time, and designated arrival time for the candidate. Participants can review the "Information Handbook" here.
Candidates must bring the following documents to the exam:
- Original identification document
- "Exam Admission Ticket"
The duration of the exam is 3 hours for director and deputy director recruitment, and 2 hours for teacher recruitment.
The recruitment exam for directors and deputy directors assesses candidates' knowledge of normative legal acts relevant to their field, pedagogy and educational psychology, logical reasoning, and general knowledge. Candidates will be presented with 50 multiple-choice questions on relevant normative legal acts, 15 on pedagogy and educational psychology, 15 on logical reasoning, and 20 on general knowledge (100 multiple-choice questions in total).
The teacher recruitment exam assesses candidates' specialized knowledge in their respective fields ("Music," "Visual Arts," "Choreography"), pedagogy and educational psychology, logical reasoning, and general knowledge. Depending on the candidate's specialization, questions testing specialized knowledge in music will be offered in "National Music" or "Classical Music" tracks. Candidates will be presented with 40 multiple-choice questions on specialized knowledge, 10 on pedagogy and educational psychology, 10 on logical reasoning, and 10 on general knowledge (70 multiple-choice questions in total).
Each correct answer is awarded 1 point. Incorrect answers do not affect the overall score.
The computer-based exam will be held at the SEC Electronic Examination Building in Baku and at Secondary School No. 4 in Nakhchivan. A total of 1,350 candidates (121 for director/deputy director positions and 1,229 for teaching positions) have registered to take the exam. To facilitate the exam process, 15 hall administrators, 89 invigilators, and 14 access control staff members have been assigned.
Additionally, 5 candidates with physical disabilities (visually impaired) will participate in the exam. Appropriate conditions have been arranged in the exam hall to ensure a comfortable testing environment for these candidates, and individual invigilators have been assigned to assist with reading the questions and filling out answer sheets.
