The current global health crisis has pushed forward innovative approaches for remote test administration and SEC has been very active in product development for the Azerbaijani market since the start of 2020. Finally, after several successful deployments internally, the ProctorDİM now meets all the security protocols and offers the new product to the public for practice tests prior to the high-stakes exams. The online remote proctoring of the ProctorDİM could be divided into the following phases: installation of necessary software, ID verification, video recording, proctor invigilation, and score reporting.
Once the software is installed and ready to start, both the test-taker and his/her computer screen become the subject of proctoring via a camera, and the video of the entire examination process is recorded and stored at the SEC-managed servers. One of the added-values of the ProctorDİM is being designed as a plugin for the best and most used the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) in the world.
Prior to the start of the exam, the candidate’s identity is verified through a face recognition program (automated ID verification and live authentication). Then the entire exam process is monitored online by proctors. Upon completion of the exam, the test-taker receives a report about the score.
The first public trial of the ProctorDİM is offered as a free practice test for the candidates preparing for the Azerbaijani language test (Azerbaijani as a State language test – taken by students studying at schools where the instructional language is not Azerbaijani).

Registration is open from 11:30 to 17:00 on June 4. The exam is scheduled for June 5 in 3 sessions - at 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00. It is planned that 100 test-takers will attend each session (on the first comes, first-served basis).
