The new bachelor admission policy in Azerbaijan would apply for the following internationally accredited education programs:
- International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (IB Diploma Programme);
- Advanced Level of General Certificate of Education;
- Advanced Placement.
The SEC welcomes applicants with valid certificates of internationally accredited education programs. For the entry requirements of the application process, these applicants are required to submit copies of the following documents to the State Examination Center with through info@dim.gov.az email address a subject line of “Exempt from the university entrance exam" within the given timeframe of July 23-31:
1. An e-copy of Online Application Form;
2. An e-copy of certificate from internationally accredited education programs;
3. Applicants are required to submit their international diploma results (grades) to the SEC online. To do this, they must enter the institutional code of the SEC in the appropriate section of the request form on the official website of the internationally accredited education program institutions issuing certificates through either their personal account or the account of the representative of the school they graduated from.
IB Diploma Programme applicants can send their results (grades) online to the SEC via the account of the school representative (Diploma Program Coordinator) or their personal account by entering the institutional code of the SEC (039315) in the relevant section on the official website of the IB. In addition, those applicants should send their personal code number (IB Personal Code) to s.huseynova@dim.gov.az for the confirmation of their transcript request.
These applicants are eligible to apply for the undergraduate degree programs only where the instructional language is the same as at their internationally accredited education programs.
Moreover, in accordance with the “Rules of Admission to Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, these applicants are required to take a separate exam on the Azerbaijani language and receive an acceptable score.
