The State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 11, 2016. The State Examination Center is a public legal entity that organizes examinations for state bodies, legal and natural persons on the basis of a contract, for the purpose of selecting personnel for the civil service, for the purpose of conducting student admissions to higher and secondary educational institutions, regardless of the organizational-legal and ownership form.
The governing bodies of the center are the Supervisory Board and the Management Board.
The Supervisory Board of the Center carries out general management and control of the Center. The Board consists of 5 (five) members appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - the chairperson of the board and other members.
The current management of the center's activities is carried out by the Management Board consisting of 3 (three) members - the chairperson and 2 (two) deputies, all appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
