The meeting held on July 8, 2024 was attended by Maleyka Abbaszadeh, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SEC, Randy Cole, the cultural affairs representative of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, and Khanim Teilova, an education specialist, as well as the employees of the relevant structural divisions of SEC.
During the meeting, M. Abbaszadeh spoke about the various international exams held at SEC as an official test center, the process of their organization, as well as the work done to increase the number of exam places in SEC, taking into account citizens' interest in these exams. He also said that the start of the electronic examination corpus is one of the important steps taken in this field and emphasized the importance of making international examinations more accessible to citizens.
It should be noted that there are long-term cooperative relations between the State Examination Center and the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the projects implemented in the past years with the support of the embassy in the direction of professional development of English language teachers and improvement of assessment tools, as well as in the near future, the preparation of assignments in English for foreign language assessment and various subjects, as well as the professional training of teachers, experts and markers. have reached a preliminary agreement on the implementation of joint development projects.
