On June 12, a meeting was held in London between the delegation of the State Examination Center and representatives of international certification and assessment organizations PeopleCert, LanguageCert, and City&Guilds.
During the meeting, Chairperson M. Abbaszade provided information on the SEC's strategic goals in assessment. The presentation highlighted the development of certification mechanisms in the civil service, competency-based assessment, capacity building through the application of artificial intelligence and advanced psychometric tools in assessment, conducting research on language proficiency assessment, as well as issues regarding the acquisition of official examination center status and the organization of its activities.
Representatives of PeopleCert, LanguageCert, and City&Guilds provided information on international certification systems and partnership models implemented in various countries.
The meeting included an exchange of views on solutions aligned with the SEC's priorities, advanced practices in the field of civil service and professional assessment and certification, studying assessment models for vocational education and qualifications, micro-credentials, and the acquisition of digital skill certificates. Areas of mutual interest were reviewed, and opportunities for joint activities in the future were identified.
