On March 3, 2025, a new memorandum of cooperation was signed between the State Examination Center and the “YAŞAT” Foundation.
The memorandum signed by the Chairperson of the Board of the State Examination Center, Maleyka Abbaszadeh, and the Head of the “YAŞAT” Foundation, Elvin Huseynov, defines areas of joint cooperation for moral support to the families of martyrs and veterans of the 44-day Patriotic War.
At the meeting, Chairperson M. Abbaszadeh said that the activities of the children of martyrs and veterans in the field of education are constantly monitored by the State Examination Center and necessary support is provided. Also, assistance is provided to involve veterans in special courses to prepare for higher education institutions and to participate in some test exams on a free basis. The Chairperson also said that this year, 77 children of martyrs are expected to participate in the final exams at the general secondary education level and 57 at the complete secondary education level, and the process is generally closely monitored by the State Examination Center.
It should be noted that the memorandum covers the following issues:
1. To explore learning and development opportunities in professional competence, skills, technical knowledge and other areas;
2. To assist in the preparation and implementation of events to be organized by the State Educational Service for the care of children of martyrs and veterans;
3. To explore and create new opportunities to improve the knowledge and skills of children of martyrs and veterans, as well as to advance their careers;
4. To hold a scientific conference on the analysis of academic performance of children of martyrs and veterans;
5. To increase the employment of children of martyrs and veterans who are schoolchildren and students through capacity building initiatives, etc.
Note that the first memorandum of cooperation between the State Examination Center and the “YAŞAT” Foundation was signed in 2021.
