The State Examination Center is defined as the main executive institution for the measures provided in clauses 1-3 of the "Socio-economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026", approved by the Order No. 3378 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 22, 2022.
On October 30, 2024, an event was held under the joint organization of the State Examination Center and the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy on the topic "Green energy concept in civil service".
The event is dedicated to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) and the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World".
Chief of Staff of the State Examination Center Vafadar Misirov and Director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy Javid Abdullayev made an opening speech at the event. During the speech, the participants were informed about the environmental policy of the state, the promotion of "green thinking and green approach" in the civil service, as well as the relevance of the event on the eve of the COP29 Conference.
Later, the heads of various structural units of the Agency presented "Fundamentals of wind and solar energy", "Selecting areas of renewable energy sources - a challenge facing state authorities", "Legal basis of investment projects in the field of renewable energy sources" and "Green Energy Zone in areas liberated from occupation" concept presented with presentations.
Executive officials of central and local executive authorities took part in the event.
During the event, the questions of the participants were answered and extensive discussions were held.
