On June 21, 2026, the State Examination Center (SEC) will conduct the first stage of the residency entrance exam (assessment of knowledge in basic subjects, second attempt).
A total of 2,141 candidates have registered for the exam. Among them, 1,626 will take the exam in the Azerbaijani section, and 515 in the Russian section. Of the applicants, 899 are male and 1,242 are female. 332 are graduates of the current year, 1,023 are graduates of previous years, and 786 are expected to graduate in the coming years. 29 candidates are foreign citizens.
The exam will be held in Baku and Nakhchivan. The exam starts at 10:00 and lasts for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The admission process ends at 09:45, 15 minutes before the start of the exam. Participants arriving after this time will not be allowed into the examination building.
Candidates participating in the exam must visit the SEC website to print their "Admission Ticket." Along with the admission ticket, they are also provided with the "Candidate's Memory Book," which contains important recommendations regarding the examination process, rules to be followed, and other necessary information.
Candidates must bring the following documents to the exam:
- Original identification document;
- "Admission Ticket."
Candidates should arrive at the examination building at the time specified on the admission ticket. It is strictly prohibited to bring mobile phones and other communication devices, electronic devices, calculators, electronic data carriers, books, notebooks, magazines, notes, reference books, dictionaries, tables, bags, and other auxiliary materials into the building. Participants are requested not to bring extra items to the examination building, as they hinder the efficient organization and timely completion of the admission process.
To conduct the exam, 6 buildings, 6 general exam supervisors, 14 exam supervisors, 113 proctors, 17 admission security staff, and 6 building representatives have been assigned.
