On October 1, the State Examination Centre (SEC) will administer an examination for prospective passenger taxi drivers who have completed special training and wish to obtain a certificate. Relevant authorities have already submitted the details of candidates eligible to sit for the test to the SEC.
Eligible candidates must complete their registration between August 24, 12:00, and September 20, 18:00.
To register, drivers must first create a "Personal Cabinet" on the SEC website (https://ekabinet.dim.gov.az/) and register before the deadline via the designated service: "Registration for the test examination assessing specialized training on ethical conduct and regulatory legal acts governing passenger transportation by road for passenger taxi drivers." Instructions on creating a "Personal Cabinet" and adding funds to the account are available at the link above.
Participation in the examination requires a fee. After creating a "Personal Cabinet," candidates must top up their account balance with the required examination fee of 35 AZN. The fee is non-refundable for candidates who register but fail to attend the examination.
The electronic examination will be conducted at the SEC Electronic Examination Center (50 S.S. Akhundov St., Binagadi district, Baku, near TURKPA) and at secondary school No. 12 named after Vagif Aliyev in Ganja. Candidates will be able to print their "Examination Admission Ticket" from the SEC website via the "Printing of admission tickets and results for electronic examinations" service 3 days prior to the examination date, following the conclusion of the registration process.
The duration of the examination is 1 hour. Candidates will be presented with 20 multiple-choice questions covering the special training syllabus established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, focusing on drivers' ethical conduct and regulatory legal acts governing road passenger transportation. Each correct answer is awarded 1 point; incorrect answers do not penalize correct ones. Candidates scoring 10 or more points will be deemed to have passed the examination and will be issued a certificate valid for 7 (seven) years.
