Internationally accredited education programs are as follows:
- IB Diploma Programme;
- Advanced Level of General Certificate of Education;
- Advanced Placement.
Applicants who wish to attend the competition should submit the photocopies of below mentioned documents to the State Examination Center in an online format (to the e-mail address info@dim.gov.az by indicating “without competition” in a subject line) between 8 and 22 July, 2022.
1. Copy of “Electronic application of applicant”
2. Copy of document confirming the study on relevant program;
3. Applicants shall submit their results (grades) on international diploma to the SEC in an electronic format. In this regard, they assure that their results (grades) are sent to the SEC by putting the institutional code of the SEC in the relevant section through their personal account or the account of the representative of the school they graduated from on the official website of the international institution issuing the document.
Applicants submitting their results (grades) on IB diploma must assure that their results (grades) are sent to the SEC in an electronic format by putting the institutional code of the SEC (039315) in the relevant section through the account of the representative of the school they graduated from (Diploma Programme Coordinator) or their personal account on the official website of the IB. Moreover, those applicants must send their personal code (IB Personal Code) to s.huseynova@dim.gov.az e-mail address.
Graduates of the mentioned programs can choose the majors taught in the language they received the program.
In accordance with the "Rules on the admission to higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan", these applicants must take a separate examination on the Azerbaijani language and score the average.
The minimum score (or grade) requirements for educational programs in order for admission to higher education institutions without competition are presented below:
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; - For admission on a paid basis - 25 (for "Law" and "Medical studies" majors - 30) - For admission on the basis of a state order - 35;
- Advanced Level of General Certificate of Education (on three relevant examination subjects); - For admission on a paid basis - C - For admission on the basis of a state order - B;
- Advanced placement (on three relevant examination subjects). - For admission on a paid basis - 3 - For admission on the basis of a state order - 4.
Note: "Relevant three examination subjects" are considered as follows:
I major group - mathematics, physics and chemistry,
II major group - mathematics, geography and history,
III major group (DT subgroup) - Azerbaijani language or Russian language, history and literature,
III major group (TC subgroup) - Azerbaijani language or Russian language, history and geography,
IV major group - biology, chemistry and physics.
